Social Prescribing Day 2023

9th March 2023

WHAT IS SOCIAL PRESCRIBING DAY?

The 3rd Social Prescribing Day on March 10th, 2022, is an event aiming to foster an attitudinal change, to shift the power to the people and local communities, to forge cross-sectoral collaboration, to promote co-design and co-creation, and to ensure social prescribing continues to grow as a grassroots movement.

Previous Social Prescribing Days have seen so much activity that this time around we will be celebrating social prescribing over a whole week, starting on the 4th March.

The 4th Social Prescribing Day on March 9th, 2023 is an event aiming to foster an attitudinal change, to shift the power to the people and local communities, to forge cross-sectoral collaboration, to promote co-design and co-creation, and to ensure social prescribing continues to grow as a grassroots movement.

Social Prescribing Day is an opportunity to celebrate social prescribing, recognise link workers, local community groups and regional and national organisations which support people’s health and wellbeing.
